it fixes the issue I cannot find many references to this warning anywhere. I have two view controllers that offer pull-to-refresh control. One is fine. The other produces the warning above. I copied the code from one to the other. , Do it inside viewDidLoad method.

around this issue You can load different custom controls dynamically if you redirect to the same page instead of a full or partial refresh and write the desired custom control name into a session scope variable before.
Your test XPage could look like this then:
code :
    <xp:comboBox id="comboBox1" value="#{sessionScope.ssSelectedView}"
        style="width:20%">
        <xp:selectItem itemLabel="Test One" itemValue="ccTestOne.xsp"></xp:selectItem>
        <xp:selectItem itemLabel="Test Two" itemValue="ccTestTwo.xsp"></xp:selectItem>
        <xp:selectItem itemLabel="Test Three" itemValue="ccTestThree.xsp"></xp:selectItem>
        <xp:selectItem itemLabel="Test Four" itemValue="ccTestFour.xsp"></xp:selectItem>

        <xp:eventHandler event="onchange" submit="true"
            refreshMode="norefresh">
            <xp:this.action><![CDATA[#{javascript:
                facesContext.getExternalContext().redirect(context.getUrl().toString())
            }]]></xp:this.action>
        </xp:eventHandler>
    </xp:comboBox>

    <xp:br></xp:br>

    <xp:panel id="panelView">
        <xp:table>

MS Word Interop - Hide content control placeholder text but retain the content control

I wish this help you The technical term for grey text is "Placeholder text". Hhere are some basic approaches you can use:
There's a built-in document style named "Placeholder text". You can set its Font.Hidden property to True so that, while you'll still see it on screen it won't print.
code :
ActiveDocument.Styles("Placeholder text").Font.Hidden = True
'To change it back
'ActiveDocument.Styles("Placeholder text").Font.Hidden = False
Sub TogglePlaceholderText()
  Dim cc As word.ContentControl
  Dim sAltPlaceholder As String

  'Before running this macro make sure the placeholder
  'is written to the content control's Tag property
  sAltPlaceholder = " "
  Set cc = ActiveDocument.SelectContentControlsByTitle("CC_Test").Item(1)
  If cc.ShowingPlaceholderText And cc.Tag = cc.PlaceholderText Then
    cc.SetPlaceholderText Text:=sAltPlaceholder
  Else
    cc.SetPlaceholderText Text:=cc.Tag
  End If
End Sub
WM_SETTEXT for STATIC text does not refresh the control content

WM_SETTEXT for STATIC text does not refresh the control content

Any of those help I have solved by changed the width of the label after set. This was necessary because if text is larger than the width of the label, it will be cut. As a side effect, luckyly, the static control was repainted, seeing the text set by the WM_SETTEXT message.
The code to enlarge the static control was:
code :
                        // Si es un label, debe agrandar el ancho para que se acomode a la cantidad de caracteres del control
                        System.Drawing.Size size = Helpers.WinApi.MeasureString(System.Drawing.Graphics.FromHwnd(hWnd).GetHdc(), formatted.ToString());
                        Helpers.WinApi.RECT rect = new Helpers.WinApi.RECT();
                        if (Helpers.WinApi.GetWindowRect(nextControl, out rect))
                            Helpers.WinApi.MoveWindow(nextControl, rect.Left, rect.Top, rect.Right - rect.Left + size.Width, rect.Bottom - rect.Top, true);

How do I shorten the pull to refresh distance (threshold) in React Native Refresh Control

seems to work fine I am trying to implement pull to refresh using Refresh Control in ScrollView. I need to modify the pulling distance/threshold of refresh control. I have checked for the related props to achieve it, but I can't any props related to this. , We can achieve this by onScroll event listener.
code :
  <ScrollView
    contentContainerStyle={styles.subContainer}
    bounces={true}
    horizontal={false}
    onScroll={onSwipeDown}
  >
   {props.children}
  </ScrollView>
 const onSwipeDown = event => {
    console.log(event.nativeEvent.contentOffset.y);
    if (event.nativeEvent.contentOffset.y < 0) { // you can replace zero with needed threshold
      onRefresh(); //your refresh function
    }
  };
