Does that help You're trying to read the Source of the EventDispatchThread, but you Eclipse cant find it, since you're using a JRE.
Download a JDK (Java Development Kit) and add it to Eclipse (Window => Preferences => Java => Installed JREs => Add...). Use the installation dir (e.g. C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_45)

seems to work fine After reading your code, I changed every "Listfragmentexample" to "ListFragmentExample". This happens in multiple files.
The name "ListFragmentExample" represents your package name and needs to be consistent across your project files. If you want it to be "Listfragmentexample" then it needs to be like that everywhere in your project when you want to refer to something in your package, since that is the package name. No mix and match should be allowed.

wish helps you The class Launcher$AppClassLoader belongs to the JRE and is about to load your class. It has nothing to do with the source code of your own classes. If you step further you will reach your own class Test2. If you go to the end of your debug button bar (four buttons right to the “step into” button), there’s a “Use step filters” button. Activate it to avoid unnecessary steps into the JRE classes.

wish of those help Well it turns out the solution was anticlimactic. When Balder's recommendations did not work I tried debugging one of the stock OpenFire plugins and it worked just fine. I then created a new plugin from scratch, and by doing nothing other than adding the source to the project (Right-click on the project -> New -> Source Folder) it also worked just fine. I have no idea why Eclipse refuses to see the source for my original plugin, but I moved all my code and libraries over to the new plugin and debugging is working as expected.

this one helps. Sometimes going to maven --> Download Sources doesn't work & never downloads the source.
For this we need additional step as shown below:
