Why can I have multiple identical binding redirects in web.config?

This might help you If you have more than one binding redirect defined for one assembly, it uses the first one that it found and ignores all others.
So if you change the newVersion of the first one to 4.0.0.0 the runtime will try to load Version 4.0.0.0 of the assembly. The second redirect is ignored.

hope this fix your issue I'm attempting to create a custom config section in the app.config file of my C# .NET console application. It's to store some details about some servers, like so:
code :
<confgisections>
    <section name="server" type="RPInstaller.ServerConfig" allowLocation="true" allowDefinition="Everywhere"/>
</confgisections>
<server>
  <servers>
    </clear>
    <add name="rmso2srvm" isBatchServer="false"/>
    <add name="rmsb2srvm" isBatchServer="true"/>
  </servers>
</server>
 Dim cfg As ServerSection = (ConfigurationManager.GetSection("Server"),ServerSection)
 cfg.ServersCollection("nameOfServer").isBatchServer

this one helps. I figured it out. Because my URL's are not ending in /search/ I needed to add the wildcard
code :
(r'^floor-plans/search/.*$', redirect_to, {'url': 'http://www.rhodeislandrow.com/floor-plans/'}),

I wish this help you The line you are seeing is coming from the unification table that is inside the runtime.
The runtime has special knowledge of a handful of assemblies and for those is applies a special binding redirect if no user specified binding redirects are specified (in the locations you mentioned).

I hope this helps you . Seems that System.Net.Http.Formatting.dll needs Newtonsoft.Json v6.0, and you get the error since the other file defines version 12.0.1 to be used.
Maybe you can bring the System.Net.Http.Formatting.dll up to version that is compatible with Newtonsoft 12.0.1 ?
