Log value of variable every second in Python

Log value of variable every second in Python

fixed the issue. Will look into that further You can use threading to print var each second.
try this example:
code :
var = 5

def printit():
  global var
  threading.Timer(5.0, printit).start()
  print "Hello, World!", var

printit()

import time

for i in range(1000000):
    time.sleep(2)
    var = i

hop of those help? The readline module can give you tab completion for raw_input().
You probably want to do something like this.
storing a variable's value in another variable and reassigning it to that variable inside a loop in python

this one helps. It sounds like you are trying to store the original input list in y so that you can restore the value of x partway through your program.
This is not currently working because y = x causes both x and y to refer to the same list. Modifying one will modify the other. Example:
code :
>>> x = [1,2,3]
>>> y = x
>>> y.append(4)
>>> print x
[1, 2, 3, 4]
>>> x = [1,2,3]
>>> y = x[:]
>>> y.append(4)
>>> print x
[1, 2, 3]
x = list(str(raw_input("Please enter a string: ")))

y = x[:]

#later, within the while loop:
    while j<n:
        x = y[:]

it should still fix some issue At the beginning of the function initialize the variable to None. Then later you can check it with:
code :
if x is not None:

Does that help First convert Months to categorical using pd.Categorical:
code :
df['Months'] = pd.Categorical(df['Months'], categories = ['Jan', 'Feb', 'Mar', 'Apr', 'May'], ordered = False)
df.sort_values(['Seller_id', 'Months', 'Sales_amount'], ascending = [True, True, False])

Hope this helps In the REPL _ is a shorthand that will automatically store the last evaluated value, unless you explicitly assign to it.
The solutions are:
code :
value_you_want, _ = function_that_returns_a_2_tuple()
>>> 1 + 1
2
>>> _
2
>>> _ = 1
>>> _
1
>>> 2 + 2
4
>>> _
1
>>> del _
>>> 2 + 2
4
>>> _
4
