wish helps you To read multiple records, you need to call parseDelimitedFrom multiple times:
code :
public class ReadFile {
  public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception {
    FileInputStream file = new FileInputStream("user.data");
    User user = User.parseDelimitedFrom(file);
    System.out.println(user);
    User user2 = User.parseDelimitedFrom(file);
    System.out.println(user2);
  }
}

Why protocol buffer c++ library not reading binary objects properly

Why protocol buffer c++ library not reading binary objects properly

Any of those help So apparently, i was doing a very silly mistake while creating the binary files. I did not open the file in binary mode when i wrote protobuf data to it causing it to add weird ascii characters in the middle. This caused an issue while reading the data using protobuf-net library. The issue is resolved here. Shouldn't have taken so long to resolve this.
How to store a single byte in a protocol buffer?

How to store a single byte in a protocol buffer?

I hope this helps you . Are you just looking for bytes? It's listed under the Scalar Value Types in the docs. It's typically used to store a variable length number of bytes, so not sure on the efficiency of using it to store a single byte.
The type uint32 uses a variable length encoding, so that's probably the most efficient thing you can do.

may help you . Protobuffer is a binary format, so it's not human readable in it's raw state. To read it, go get the python bindings from Google and install with:
code :
pip install --upgrade gtfs-realtime-bindings
from google.transit import gtfs_realtime_pb2
import urllib.request

feed = gtfs_realtime_pb2.FeedMessage()
pb_url = "http://someURL/someFile.pb"

with urllib.request.urlopen(pb_url) as response:
    feed.ParseFromString(response.read())
    print(feed)
header {
  gtfs_realtime_version: "1.0"
  incrementality: FULL_DATASET
  timestamp: 1579313685
}
entity {
  id: "10-abc-O-1"
  trip_update {
    trip {
      trip_id: "10-1622-O-1"
    }
...

hop of those help? You could include your enum inside another message so the visibility will not conflict.
Exemple :
Google Protocol Buffer error: "Encountered string containing invalid UTF-8 data while serializing protocol buffer&q

Google Protocol Buffer error: "Encountered string containing invalid UTF-8 data while serializing protocol buffer&q

With these it helps You can get rid of the warning by following the advice in the message!
You must have a field or fields in the definition of odl (in your .proto file) which are defined as string but into which you are putting non-UTF-8 characters. The docs state that you shouldn't do this. If you change these to bytes, the warnings should disappear.
