Where I can find Microsoft.DirectX assembly to reference

Where I can find Microsoft.DirectX assembly to reference

I wish did fix the issue. Microsoft.DirectX is the deprecated Managed DirectX 1.1 assemblies that date back to the early 2000s. They are deployed by DXSETUP from the legacy DirectX SDK. They are also not compatible with .NET 4.0, and only support Direct3D 9. In other words, they are ancient and don't use it.
Instead you should use SlimDX or SharpDX.

To fix this issue I've installed .net 4.0 as well as XNA 4.0 . A while ago I used Microsoft.DirectX to play some music and now when I try to redo the work, I can't find the reference. Did the new changes on the platform modify or moved something in the references? , Visual Studio 2010:

Any of those help as error message says you need additional configuration information.
set useLegacyV2RuntimeActivationPolicy as true in your app config file
code :
<startup useLegacyV2RuntimeActivationPolicy="true">
   <supportedRuntime version="v4.0" sku=".NETFramework,Version=v4.0"/>

I think the issue was by ths following , That seems to be a reference to the Microsoft DirectX SDK. You would have to download and install that first via Microsoft's website, then the DLL-files can be found in %SystemRoot%\Microsoft.NET\DirectX for Managed Code\1.0.2902.0.

This might help you You find the Video in microsoft.directx.audiovideoplayback.dll. Unless you're aware of it though, the Managed DirectX product is no longer supported and is superseded by Microsoft XNA.
