this one helps. Yes. Many frameworks like ReactJS and Meteor are based upon this basic premise of being able to share the same JS code on both client and server. You just need to get familiar with making your code modular (ie using things like require or ES6 import) so that you can easily isolate the sections of code that are server-specific or client-specific.

hope this fix your issue Never used vue.js, from what I know is a client library like React, so if you want to upload an image you have to pass the whole image to a backend.
The best practice I think would be store the image in some remote filesystem, like a S3 and store the reference in a db

it fixes the issue Next Js is basically lets you build server-side rendering and static web applications using React.
You can use following way to connect to your Nodejs backed from react using axios
code :
axios.post(url,data, {
headers: {
    'authorization': your_token,
    'Accept' : 'application/json',
    'Content-Type': 'application/json'
}
})
.then(response => {
// return  response;
})
.catch((error) => {
//return  error;
});

will help you I would stick to a Java EE or Node.js application. I don't see any benefits from combining these two technologies. To run a JSF application (I would recommend JSF2 instead of 1.2) you have to run a Java Application Server, which is great system resources consumer. So in the end you will have to run Node.js and Java server at the same time... But if you would insist on using both technologies, the web services like REST API will be a solution. Never used Node.js, but what I heard of it has much better performance compared to Java App. servers.

I think the issue was by ths following , I am building a chat app and I want to ask users to input their username. JQuery front-end code slides a form into view (on ready), stores the data into variables and then loads the chat (when enter key or button is pressed). How do I stop that animation until I validate user input on server-side? I am using node.js for backend. Any ideas? , rough code for this ...
