I hope this helps . I have a FlexTable and have a click event associated with it. It happens sometimes that events are trigerred multiple times. Sometimes up to 10 times on a single click. I have checked for multiple event handlers but I have only one. As evident from the case that it sometimes run exactly once per click. , You already gave an answer to your question:
code :
flex.addClickHandler(new ClickHandler() {
    public void onClick(ClickEvent event) {
       //some code which might result into call of function B
    }
}
//function A is being called multiple times by say function B
private FlexTable flex = new FlexTable(); //it is a global variable
private ClickHandler handler = null;

private void A(){
    flex.clear();
    //
    if(handler == null){
        handler = new ClickHandler(){}...
        flex.addHandler(handler);
    }
private FlexTable flex = new FlexTable(); //it is a global variable
private HandlerRegistration handler = null;

private void A(){
    flex.clear();
    //
    if(handler != null){
        handler.removeHandler();
    }
    handler = flex.addClickHandler(new ClickHandler() {
    public void onClick(ClickEvent event) {
       //some code which might result into call of function B
    }
}

Any of those help Simply reassigning the _on_mouse_down function to _on_dbl_click seems to do the trick:
code :
scheduler._on_mouse_down = scheduler._on_dbl_click;

will help you You can pass a handler that calls your two functions in sequence.
In order for this to be properly bound, though, you have to use call() or apply() to invoke them:
code :
$("#div").click(function() {
    function1.call(this);
    function2.call(this);
});

I hope this helps you . What is happening is that chrome is displaying Each site on top of each other when going forward.. Seems like a bug in chrome.
But one thing you can do to get around this issue is put a break
in between each site
code :
<br />
<article class="ivTubeCnt" id="site2" style="display:none;">

I think the issue was by ths following , Since you're already using jQuery, you may as well create the element using jQuery and bind the click function on its creation. This will likely solve whatever is causing your double-firing issue.
Fiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/f9PX4/
code :
function myFunction() {
    alert('clicked');
}

$(function() {
    var button = $("<input>");
    button.attr("type", "button")
        .attr("title", "Add new book to list")
        .attr("id", "get_new")
        .css({ position: "relative", top: -5, left: 900 })
        .val("No Thanks,Get New")
        .addClass("btn btn-primary");
    button.click(function() {
        return myFunction();
    });
    $("#current_page").append(button);
});

around this issue Sure! But they JS event will happen, then the postback will occur, then the .net event will happen.
code :
<asp:CheckBox ID="CheckBox1" runat="server" AutoPostBack="True" onclick="alert('ohyeh');" />
Protected Sub CheckBox1_CheckedChanged(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles CheckBox1.CheckedChanged
    MsgBox("shazam")
End Sub
