How do I add shading and color to the confidence intervals in ggplot 2 generated Kaplan-Meier plot?

How do I add shading and color to the confidence intervals in ggplot 2 generated Kaplan-Meier plot?

Any of those help I found a better solution. You just use the Rcmdrplugin KMggplot2 which also has the optional features of adding the median line and number at risk table.

this one helps. There are not really R questions, so this question might be more appropriate for the statistics site. But the following might help.
Plot of Kaplan-Meier curve inconsistent with generated statistics

I hope this helps you . Do NOT create Surv-objects outside the regression arguments, and DO use column names without reference to the dataframes. The violation of those two practices in your code will prevent the ‘predict’ and ‘plot’ methods from knowing where to access the data elements using the terms attributes in the model objects.
The question of the shape of the curve: If the last event is a death then the K-M curve will drop to zero.

wish help you to fix your issue As of today, there would appear to be no straightforward way of changing anything with regards to survival median line.
This is a snippet from above code which plots the line.
code :
if(nrow(df)>0){
      if(type %in% c("hv", "h"))
        p <- p +
          geom_segment(aes(x = 0, y = max(y2), xend = max(x1), yend = max(y2)),
                       data = df, linetype = "dashed", size = 0.5) # horizontal segment

      if(type %in% c("hv", "v"))
        p <- p + geom_segment(aes(x = x1, y = y1, xend = x2, yend = y2), data = df,
                              linetype = "dashed", size = 0.5) # vertical segments
    }
    else warning("Median survival not reached.")
  }
