Heroku / Rails: can't set path to vendorized dependencies

Heroku / Rails: can't set path to vendorized dependencies

With these it helps I've got a set of libs/headers/binaries that are used to build some gems in my app (specifically Boost and SWIG). I've pre-built everything on a cedar-14 docker image and put it all in my vendor directory, so I have "vendor/swig" and "vendor/lib/boost" etc. I've tried setting paths with both heroku config:set and by making a paths.sh file in .profile.d as recommended in the documentation but no luck. , Answer is you can't, you need to make a buildpack.

This might help you Heroku doesn't work with sqlite3, it works with postgresql.
You should have the following inside your gemfile:
code :
group :development, :test do
  gem 'sqlite3'
end

group :production do
  gem 'pg'
end
$ bundle install
$ git push heroku master

I wish this helpful for you First of all check you have created all templates for each method. Have you check your app works in local system in development mode? If it throw an error then first of all trace that error and fix. Then only try on production
Try to change your route file like this:
code :
Rails.application.routes.draw do
  root 'welcome#index' #to make it main page(default)
  post '/welcomes', to: 'welcome#create'
  get 'welcome/new', to: 'welcome#new'
end

code :
<%= link_to image_tag("avatar.png", class: "img-responsive"), url_path %>
# config/environments/production.rb
...
config.assets.compile = true

I think the issue was by ths following , Short answer is, using default Heroku configuration, you cannot simply add your own jar. You can workaround this by build a gem that package with jar and use it in your app.
Assume you have jars in the lib folder. If you try to run console on your apps:
Upload to heroku rails app with file path string

I hope this helps you . First of all Heroku has read-only file system. So you can't upload anything directly to heroku. Use something like Amazon S3 to keep files.
The second issue is your approach. When running app locally - it has access to your C:/ drive. But app that is located at remote server does not have access to your computers C:/ drive, so it can't fetch file. You should upload either through browser file field or through passing accessible to anyone http link.
