With these it helps Firstly, I would recommend using a placeholder versus inputting actual placholder text into your textarea:
code :
<textarea placeholder="please enter a title"></textarea>
trim($value_to_store);

will help you You can use CustomValidator to validate input at client-side or server-side code.
aspx markup
code :
<asp:CheckBox ID="CheckBox1" runat="server" />
<asp:CheckBox ID="CheckBox2" runat="server" />
<asp:CheckBox ID="CheckBox3" runat="server" />
<asp:CheckBox ID="CheckBox4" runat="server" />

<asp:CustomValidator
      ID="CustomValidator1"
      runat="server"
      ErrorMessage="put here error description"
      ClientValidationFunction="clientfunc"
      OnServerValidate="CheckValidate">
</asp:CustomValidator>
<asp:Button ID="Button1" runat="server" Text="Button" OnClick="Button1_Click" />
protected void CheckValidate(object source, ServerValidateEventArgs args)
    {
        args.IsValid=false;
        if (CheckBox1.Checked)
            args.IsValid = true;
        if (CheckBox2.Checked)
            args.IsValid = true;
        if (CheckBox3.Checked)
            args.IsValid = true;
        if (CheckBox4.Checked)
            args.IsValid = true;

    }
    protected void Button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
    {
        if (IsValid)
        {
            //valid
        }
        else
        {
            //Invalid
        }
    }
 <script type="text/javascript">
        function clientfunc(sender, args) {
            args.IsValid = false;
            if (document.getElementById("CheckBox1").checked)
                args.IsValid = true;
            if (document.getElementById("CheckBox2").checked)
                args.IsValid = true;
            if (document.getElementById("CheckBox3").checked)
                args.IsValid = true;
            if (document.getElementById("CheckBox4").checked)
                args.IsValid = true;
        }
 </script>

With these it helps I'm looking to create three separate check constraints for my SQL Server database to ensure that a password field constrains a minimum of one number, one uppercase character and one special character. , You can do this with one constraint, something like:
code :
check password like '%[0-9]%' and password like '%[A-Z]%' and password like '%[!@#$%a^&*()-_+=.,;:'"`~]%' and len(password) >= 8

I hope this helps you . You could try the below regex to match a string of minimum length 8 and max length 25 and also the string must contain atleast one literal [A-Za-z] and atleast one digit.
code :
^(?=.{8,25}$)(?=.*?[A-Za-z])(?=.*?[0-9]).*
Regex for Password: "Atleast 1 letter, 1 number, 1 special character and SHOULD NOT start with a special character&

may help you . I need a regular expression for a password field. , Its simple, just add one more character class at the begining
code :
^(?=.*[a-zA-Z])(?=.*\d)(?=.*[!@#$%^&*()_+])[A-Za-z\d][A-Za-z\d!@#$%^&*()_+]{7,19}$
var pattern = new RegExp(/^(?=.*[a-zA-Z])(?=.*\d)(?=.*[!@#$%^&*()_+])[A-Za-z\d][A-Za-z\d!@#$%^&*()_+]{7,19}$/);

console.log(pattern.test("!@#123asdf!@#"));

console.log(pattern.test("123asdf!@#"));

console.log(pattern.test("12as#"));

seems to work fine Before matching (.*). Do a match on [^]] to match something other than the closing ].
