help you fix your problem The idea is first to find the offset for your CLOCK_MONOTONIC. Just read the /proc/uptime once for that. Then use the offset and CLOCK_MONOTONIC to print the time for every logged event.

code :
  uptime | tr "," " " | cut -f6-8 -d" "
uptime | sed 's/.*up \([^,]*\), .*/\1/'

it fixes the issue #PACKAGE# is substituted by dpkg-gensymbols, part of dpkg-dev, as of 1.15.0. Looks like lenny only had 1.14.29.
Backporting dpkg/dpkg-dev to 1.15.0 will probably resolve this particular issue.

I wish this help you The (e)glibc build process is black, black magic. You do not want to try to comprehend it. However, glibc adheres to a one-file-per-public-function coding style, so in general, if you have the source tree and you want to find the implementation(s) of some function, the easiest thing to do is
code :
$ find * -name '*function*' -print

this one helps. Just use the format string to display only hours, minutes and seconds:
code :
irc.sendChatMessage($"Stream uptime: {uptime:hh\\:mm\\:ss}");
irc.sendChatMessage(string.Format("Stream uptime: {0:hh\\:mm\\:ss}", uptime));
