SHA-512 is it possible to get a collission in the first byte?

will be helpful for those in need Yes, the first byte can only have 256 different values.
If you generate 257 hashes, you must have a collision. Due to the Birthday paradox, you likely need to generate even less hashes (around sqrt(256) = 16).

will be helpful for those in need I'm guessing the issue is direction.
What you really want to do is to take into account the "player" direction first and then do your checks.
code :
select movedir
   case up:
     //check if hitting bottom of box
   case down:
     //check if hitting top of box

XNA collission detection vs. game speed

XNA collission detection vs. game speed

around this issue For very fast-moving objects, the regular approach fails in the scenario you described. What you need to check for is whether the bullet has collided with any item in the interval between the two consecutive game ticks. This is called continuous collision detection (this is a rather related SO post).
You can do this by basically casting a ray between the middle of the bullet's binding box in the current position and the middle of the box from the old position, and checking if that collides with any other blocks/spheres. This is a rather fast solution and if your bullets are small enough, it should work fine.

I think the issue was by ths following , Buttons, in particular, are a problem. jQuery UI's button implementation conflicts with Bootstrap's. If you want to use them in their standard form, you can add the following lines to your page, prior to the widget initializations, to eliminate the conflict:
code :
var btn = $.fn.button.noConflict() // reverts $.fn.button to jqueryui btn
$.fn.btn = btn // assigns bootstrap button functionality to $.fn.btn

hope this fix your issue stdout is often line buffered. To force output to occur before the next line of code add '\n' to the output or use fflush(stdout).
Also change int c to char c to properly read data into c.
code :
fflush(stdout); // *****
// int c;
char c;

while(read(0, &c, 1) == 1) {
    if (((unsigned char) c) == 'y') {
      fflush(stdout); // *****

will help you I'm trying to write a collide between a mob and a player, so I'm trying to add both mobs to a single Rectangle
code :
protected bool Collide()

    PlayerRect = new Rectangle((int)playerPos.X, (int)playerPos.Y, playerFrameSize.X, playerFrameSize.Y);
    MobsRectGreen = new Rectangle((int)greenMobPos.X , (int)greenMobPos.Y , greenMobFrameSize.X , greenMobFrameSize.Y ;
    MobsRectOrange = new Rectangle((int)orangeMobPos.X,  (int)orangeMobPos.Y,  orangeMobFrameSize.X, orangeMobFrameSize.Y);

    return PlayerRect.Intersects(MobsRectGreen ) || return PlayerRect.Intersects(MobsRectOrange )  ;
private bool CollideWithMob(Mob m)
    // do the check for player and m here

protected bool Collide()
    return CollideWithMob(greenMob) || CollideWithMob(orangeMob);
