ios9 - Xcode 7 - Swift - Keyboard shows correctly in Simulator but not on an actual Device

This might help you Ugh. Being new to ios development I was 100% certain my code was borked, which was causing the keyboard not to appear. So this morning I created a test project and added each line of code from my project to the test project to see which was causing the perceived breakage.
After all the code was added back, I re-compiled the test project again, and it worked. Same exact code as the normal project, wtf? So then I realized there must be some caching anomaly that is causing the issue, and sure enough I found this post on how to clear Xcode cache. After clearing the cache I re-loaded my project, re-compiled, and sure enough, my project worked as expected.

will help you I finally solved this after MANY attempts using the following:
Remove the last #import from my Prefix.pch and build again. Errors would happen (obviously). Put the line back and build again. No errors would show and after 10 seconds or so, errors would come back again.

I wish did fix the issue. The following swift code snippet compiles properly when built for the simulator, but if I select my iPhone 4 device (iOS 9.3.1) XCode complains: , Rewrite like this:
code :
if let result = jsonobj["user"] as? NSDictionary {
    if let item = result["userID"] as? Int {
        self.userID = item
    }
}
Xcode became slow at the point I cannot longer work with actual device (simulator is fine)

around this issue Ok I found the fix: it is related to the keychain where I had tons of Apple ID keys which I simply deleted and now it works like a charm.
Steps to fix the issue:
Why won't text on a label show up on an actual device but will in the simulator? (Xcode)

it should still fix some issue Please check if Dark mode is enabled or not on the actual device, if it is then try changing the color of the text to something else like: BlackColor because if the text color is labelColor then on devices with dark mode enabled it will appear white.

around this issue There is a plist with simulator preferences located at ~/Library/Preferences
To change it to turn off the hardware keyboard, make sure the simulator is off, then run this command:
