hope this fix your issue How can I check if all $_POST lengths are more than 4 before passing it further? Below is what I tried but doesn't seem to work. , Use a loop
code :
$valid = true;
foreach ($_POST as $val) {
    if (strlen(preg_replace('/\s+/', '', $val)) < 4) {
        $valid = false;
if (!$valid) {
    // All $_POST must be at least 4 characters long

How to force Haskell to check lengths of lists?

How to force Haskell to check lengths of lists?

Hope this helps What you want is to encode the length of lists into the type system. In other words, encode natural numbers in the type system and operations on them. This is possible, although it involves some type trickery. There are libraries to achieve this, one of them tagged-list. TaggedList is tagged with its length as a type-level natural number. Then the types of your functions would look like
code :
import Data.List.Tagged as T
import TypeLevel.NaturalNumber.Operations (Plus)

f :: TaggedList n a -> TaggedList m a -> TaggedList (Plus n m) a
f = T.append

g :: (Num a) => TaggedList n a -> TaggedList n a -> TaggedList n a
g x = T.zipf (T.map (+) x) -- apparently the Tagged library lacks zipWith
                           -- so we implement it ourselves

I think the issue was by ths following , Assuming you are you are using Object-Oriented MySQLI, your code would look something like this:
code :
$phone = ( isset( $_POST['phone'] ) && !empty( $_POST['phone'] ) ) ? $conn->real_escape_string( $_POST['phone'] ) : null;
$firstname = ( isset( $_POST['firstname'] ) && !empty( $_POST['firstname'] ) ) ? $conn->real_escape_string( $_POST['firstname'] ) : null;

//create the mysql query
$sql = "SELECT * FROM users WHERE firstname='$firstname' AND phone='$phone'";

$result = $conn->query($sql); //query the database

if ($result->num_rows > 0) { //check if there are any results
   echo "There is a match.";
} else {
   echo "No matches.";

it helps some times I have this regular expression , You can use this
code :
Check if all input field lengths are 7

will help you Your issue is because the logic check is reversed. You need to remove the leading !:

To fix this issue What I find useful when working with Idris is adding holes when you're not sure about something rather than solving them. Like adding a hole into Just ... branch to see what's going on there:
