Does that help You can query the top element in json data. It depends upon what is the root element if its an array get it in an array if it is an dictionary get it in an dictionary.
Then depends upon the hierarchy of data what you have to choose. To get a value from dictionary you have to use ,
code :

should help you out Sounds like myData was does not contain a valid reference. Do you release it or forgot to retain it after reading?
[Update]: To be on the safe side and exclude this just do one more retain after creating the dictionary (just for testing!) and check whether the crash disappears. If not maybe some other variable is overwriting your myData. Set two breakpoints, one at point where the dictionary is assigned to myData, the other one before the point of crash. Check if you see a reasonable summary e.g. "2 keys pairs".

like below fixes the issue let's say i have a nsdictionary which contains an array as value. , Using containsObject you can check if object exist in array.
code :
       if([[test valueForKey:@"box 2"] containsObject:@"Audi"])
           NSLog(@"Audi exists");
       else
       {
           //[[test valueForKey:@"box 2"] addObject:@"Audi"];

           //EDIT
           NSMutableArray *data = [test valueForKey:@"box 2"];
           [data addObject:@"Audi"];
           [test setObject:data forKey:@"box 2"];

           NSLog(@"Add Audi");
       }

like below fixes the issue Yes it is possible,
For eg. For list1 array fetch like that below:
code :
NSLog(@"%@",[libraryDict objectForKey:category1]);
for(NSString str in [libraryDict objectForKey:category1])
{
 NSLog(@"%@", str);
}

seems to work fine Your question isn't clear, however I'm guessing that you have a web service which returns an array if there are multiple results, but just the result itself if there is only one, and what you want is an array of one result in the latter case.
You can address this by checking the class of the value returned by your web service using isKindOfClass:. In outline this might be:
code :
id myWebServiceResult = ...;

if (![myWebServiceResult isKindOfClass:[NSArray class]]) // note the ! - not
{
   // the result is not an array, make it an array of one item
   myWebServiceResult = @[ myWebServiceResult ];
}

With these it helps I need to check if the element inside the nsdictionary is not equal to normal, then copy that element to an array to be served as my datasource of my UITable. , Yes, you can use keysOfEntriesPassingTest
