Loading multidigital characters into array from file

Loading multidigital characters into array from file

Hope that helps Currently your program puts single characters in the array but with multidigital numbers this is no longer possible. You have to put the numerical value (limited to 1 byte) in the array.
code :
mov al, 0
mov coinStock[di], al ;Initial content
array:
lea dx, BUF ;if yes: take next character
mov ah,3fh
int 21h
CMP AX, 0
JZ  terminate
cmp BUF, 13d
JE  EndOfLine         ;(putInArray)
mov al, coinStock[di]
mov ah, 10
mul ah
mov coinStock[di], al
mov al, BUF ;move character to AL
sub al, 48 ;From character to number
add coinStock[di], al ;Add character into array coinStock
jmp array ;repeat if not end of file.
EndOfLine:
inc di
jmp putInArray

fixed the issue. Will look into that further I am trying to load shader source from inside a zip file, which is a plain text file created with notepad. loading code is as follows (error checking code removed from the below snippet): ,
code :
rwh = (Uint8*)malloc(info.uncompressed_size);
unzReadCurrentFile( data, rwh, info.uncompressed_size );
std::string tempstring(rwh1, info.uncompressed_size);

will help you I ended up copying the files to a tempfile with a name that actually works with with System.Uri when I play them. It's not an optimal solution, but it does what I need it to, so I'm going to mark this as answered.
code :
const String tempFilePath = "_TempAudioFile_.mp3";

// If the file doesn't exist, don't load anything
if (!File.Exists(filepath)) return;

Uri uri = new Uri(filepath);
if (File.Exists(uri.LocalPath))
{
    // If the filename survived being turned into a uri, load the file
    Player.Open(uri);
}
else
{
    // If the uri somehow got messed up, copy the file to a temporary file first.
    File.Copy(filepath, tempFilePath, true);
    Player.Open(new Uri(tempFilePath, UriKind.Relative));
}

To fix the issue you can do Because you only return the numerical value of the first digit.
This function converts but without any checks and it works only for the valid non negative decimal numbers, otherwise it is an UB
code :
int char_to_int(char* value)
{
    int result = 0;
    while(*value)
    {
        result *= 10;
        result += *value++ - '0';
    }
    return result;
}
int char_to_int(char* value, int *res)
{
    int sign = 0;
    int status = 0;
    int result = 0;

    if (value != NULL && res != NULL)
    {
        while (*value)
        {
            switch (*value)
            {
                case '+':
                case '-':
                    if (sign) status = -1;
                    sign = *value == '-' ? -1 : 1;
                    break;
                default:
                    if (!isdigit(*value)) status = -1;
                    if(!sign) sign = 1;
                    *result *= 10;
                    *result += *value - '0';
                    break;
            }
            value++;
            if (status) break;
        }
        if(!status)*res = sign * result;
    }

    return status;
}

help you fix your problem You could attempt to download only the first partial chunk of the file and try to use that.
