hope this fix your issue You don't need to use jQuery tabs for that.
Take in mind, that SF isn't a source of scripts, so, you should try something before and post your doubt after with some code to be analysed for whose maybe will help you.
code :
    $('#left-side a').click(function(e){
        $.ajax({url: $(this).data('target'), dataType: 'html', success: function(result){
        return false;
<div id='left-side'>
        <li><a href='#' data-target='aa.html'>Page 1</a></li>
        <li><a href='#' data-target='page2.html'>Page 2</a></li>
        <li><a href='#' data-target='page2.html'>Page 2</a></li>
<div id='right-side'>

This might help you I have a simple web page with the following HTML: , Your PHP returns JSON, not HTML. Use:
code :
dataType: "json"
'links' => [
    [ 'url' => 'http://abv.bg/', 'name' => 'ABV.BG'],
    [ 'url' => 'http://dir.bg/', 'name' => 'DIR.BG']
success: function(data) {
    $.each(data.about.links(function(i, link) {
        $('aside ul li').eq(i).children('a').attr('href', link.url).html(link.name);
$('nav ul li:nth-child(2) a').on('click', function(e) {
<script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.1.1/jquery.min.js"></script>
How to change the contents of listview on item click?

How to change the contents of listview on item click?

wish helps you Depending on how you want to make changes, do you want the user to make changes by giving input or you want to make changes through code directly. The following setOnItemClickListener set the new values to the variable. For taking input from the user, you need to populate it in the fragment or new activity, take the input from the user and commit those changes, refresh the list and show the updated data.
Model class:
code :
public class Item {

    private String name = "";

    public Item() {

    public Item(String name){
        this.name = name;

    public String getItemName() {
        return name;

    public void setItemName(String name) {
        this.name = name;

public class ItemAdapter extends ArrayAdapter<Item> {

    private List<Item> itemList = new ArrayList<Item>();
    Context context;

    public void add(Item object) {

    public ItemAdapter(List<Item> rList, Context context) {
        super(context, android.R.layout.simple_list_item_1);
        this.context = context;
        this.itemList = rList;

    private class ViewHolder {
        TextView txtItemName;

    public int getCount() {
        return this.itemList.size();

    public Item getItem(int index) {
        return this.itemList.get(index);

    public View getView(int position, View convertView, ViewGroup parent) {

        ViewHolder holder = new ViewHolder();

        if (convertView == null) {
            LayoutInflater inflater = (LayoutInflater) this.getContext().getSystemService(Context.LAYOUT_INFLATER_SERVICE);
            convertView = inflater.inflate(R.layout.list_item, parent, false);

            holder.txtItemName = (TextView) convertView.findViewById(R.id.txtItemName);

        } else

            holder = (ViewHolder) convertView.getTag();

        Item item = getItem(position);

        return convertView;

public class ItemActivity extends Activity {

    private ListView listView;
    private ItemAdapter itemListAdapter;
    private List<Item> itemList = new ArrayList<Item>();

    public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {

        listView = (ListView) findViewById(R.id.listView);

        itemListAdapter = new ItemAdapter(itemList, this);

        // add some items
        itemList.add(new Item("Charlie"));
        itemList.add(new Item("Jenny"));

        //add new items and changes to adapter

        listView.setOnItemClickListener(new OnItemClickListener(){

            public void onItemClick(AdapterView<?> parent, View view, int position, long id){

                String beforeName = itemListAdapter.getItem(position).getItemName().toString();

                String changedName = "Thomas";

Change contents of <span> on click

Change contents of <span> on click

should help you out I have a that I'm trying to change the contents of on click. I've followed a few tutorials but I can't seem to get it right so that it will change. I'm using unicode characters so I think I need to use .html() instead of .text() but I could be wrong. Any reason why this shouldn't work? , It is because this check:
code :
 if ($("#droparrow").html() == '&rtrif;')
$(".dropdownheader").click(function() {
    if($("#droparrow").data("expanded") == "1") {
    } else {
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.1.1/jquery.min.js"></script>
<div class="dropdownheader">Expected Outcomes of a Corporate Course <span id="droparrow" data-expanded="1">&rtrif;</span></div>
    <div id="childList">
            <li>A better relationship with your coworkers.</li>
            <li>A High Trust and open enivornment.</li>
            <li>A safe and fun environment to work in.</li>
Javascript change table contents on click

Javascript change table contents on click

I wish this helpful for you Add hide() before filter() so your show() only displays what is wanted
code :
$("#one").click(function() {
   $("#table tbody tr").hide().filter(function() {
    return $.trim($(this).find("td").eq(0).text()) !== "0"
<button  class="btn btn-primary filter-btn" data-filter="1">Example 2</button>

$(".filter-btn").click(function() {
   var filterVal = $(this).attr('data-filter');
   $("#table tbody tr").hide().filter(function() {
    return $.trim($(this).find("td").eq(0).text()) !== filterVal ;
