Passing multiple variables to another page

Passing multiple variables to another page

I hope this helps you . I am trying to pass the variables from 3 dropdown menus to another page. The first dropdown (course) is dynamically loaded from the database and is passing to the other page fine. However the other 2 dropdowns, whose data is manually set is not passing to the other page. , You don't have any values set in your hard-coded select options.
code :
<option value="1">1</option>
...

To fix the issue you can do I'm passing a variable to another page in a url using sessions like this but it seems that I can't concatenate another variable to the same url and retrieve it in the next page successfully , Use the ampersand & to glue variables together:
code :
$url = "http://localhost/main.php?email=$email_address&event_id=$event_id";
//                               ^ start of vars      ^next var

it fixes the issue The & character should be inside quotes and not outside quotes. This is the corrected code :
code :
$("#list").load("selectcity.php?city1="+city1+"&area1="+area1);
$.ajaxSetup({ cache: false });
$.get("selectcity.php", {"city1": city1, "area1": area1}, function(response){
 $("#list").html(response);
});

it should still fix some issue I am trying to pass multiple variables to a php page using JavaScript. Currently the JavaScript code posts a variable 'page' to fetch_pages.php. I would like to post another variable 'currentpage' to it as well. The javaScript code is as follows: , In jQuery, you can add multiple values to the POST like this:
code :
$.post('/include/fetch_pages.php',{'page': track_click, 'currentpage' : 'foo'}, function(data) {
    #do stuff
}
$.post('/include/fetch_pages.php',{'page': track_click, 'currentpage' : window.location.pathname}, function(data) { /* ... */ }
$.post('/include/fetch_pages.php',{'page': track_click, 'currentpage' : window.location.pathname.split( '/' ).slice(-1)[0]}, function(data) { /* ... */ }
$curr_page = $_POST['currentpage'];

I hope this helps you . From a performance-perspective it makes no difference at all (maybe some nano-seconds, but you won´t care for that) if you pass the reader again and again or store it locally into a variable. In contrast to what´s said in the post you´ve mentioned there is no difference on where an object is stored between decalaring it in a method or in the class itself. If it is stored on the stack or heap is determined by other means.
However from an API-perspective you should ask yourself if the dependency (in your case the reader) is needed for all members (or at least a few) of your class or just one single. I suggest passing the dependencies where you really need them.
code :
var instance = new MyType();
instance.SetReader(reader);
for(int i = 0; i < 100; i++) instance.DoSomething();

To fix the issue you can do Take a look at JSON. PHP has a function: json_encode which will take a PHP data object (ie array, but doesn't have to be an array) and encode it in javascript object notion.
In your JS you can then evaluate (tip: do not use eval, modern browsers have json parsers) to get the JSON data into Javascript object.
