seems to work fine You can add the "novalidate" attribute when the user clicks on a given button.

should help you out Two things:
First, remove type="text" from your input. You are mixing type="text" and type="number".

it should still fix some issue The element with name="submit" is of type button and not submit, so it renders a plain button that does nothing (with the intention that you bind some JavaScript to it).
Use type="submit" instead.
