I wish this helpful for you You have several problems.
First, you need to change the input to type="submit" so that it will invoke the onsubmit handler for the form. Another option would be to put the function call in the button's onclick attribute. If you're not submitting the form to a server, you don't really need the inputs to be inside a
.
code :
var getal = document.getElementById("getal").value;
function omzetten() {

  // inputRead:
  var getal = document.getElementById("getal").value;
  var bronstelsel = 2;
  var antwoord = 0;
  var j = 0;
  for (var i = getal.length - 1; i >= 0; i--) {
    antwoord += getal.substr(i, 1) * Math.pow(bronstelsel, j);
    j++;
  }
  var antwoordText = document.getElementById("antwoord");
  antwoordText.innerHTML = antwoord;
}
<form action="index.javascript.html" onsubmit="omzetten(); return false;">
  <fieldset>
    <legend>Omzetten naar decimaal stelsel:</legend>
    <p class="loginlabel">Getal</p>
    <input type="text" id="getal" class="loginfield" />
  </fieldset>
  <br/>
  <input type="submit" value="Omzetten" />
</form>
<p id="antwoord">[empty]</p>

Writing String to Stream and reading it back does not work

Writing String to Stream and reading it back does not work

should help you out After you write to the MemoryStream and before you read it back, you need to Seek back to the beginning of the MemoryStream so you're not reading from the end.
UPDATE
code :
UnicodeEncoding uniEncoding = new UnicodeEncoding();
String message = "Message";

// You might not want to use the outer using statement that I have
// I wasn't sure how long you would need the MemoryStream object
using(MemoryStream ms = new MemoryStream())
{
    var sw = new StreamWriter(ms, uniEncoding);
    try
    {
        sw.Write(message);
        sw.Flush();//otherwise you are risking empty stream
        ms.Seek(0, SeekOrigin.Begin);

        // Test and work with the stream here.
        // If you need to start back at the beginning, be sure to Seek again.
    }
    finally
    {
        sw.Dispose();
    }
}
jQuery event doesnt work on html form in javascript

To fix the issue you can do You can't bind event handlers directly on elements that don't (yet) exist. Probably the simplest change to fix this is to create all the forms up front in your document ready handler rather than creating them one at a time in the ".replyLink" click handler. Note that currently every time your click handler is called it recreates the form by setting the parent "#form-to-..." element's html, regardless of whether it already existed.
code :
$(document).ready(function(){
   // create the forms up front
   $('[id^="form-to-"]').html(htmlForm());

   $(".replyLink").click(function(){
       $("#form-to-"+this.id).toggle(500); // don't set html here, just toggle
       return false;
   });

   function htmlForm(){
    /* your existing function body here */
   }

   $(".comment-form input,.comment-form textarea").focus(function(){
      /* your existing CSS setting code here */
   });
});

I wish this help you That is not how you want to do that (probably, I am guessing, the button image doesn't work for me obviously).
I am guessing you want an input with a nice submit button which is always on the right.

it should still fix some issue mailto: form actions depend on browsers and local email clients playing together nicely. They do this so rarely that mailto: form actions are unusable on the WWW.
Replace it with a server side program that sends the email.
