Error on "instanceOf" when checking a subClass

Error on "instanceOf" when checking a subClass

it helps some times The instanceof operator tests whether a reference (the left operand) refers to an object which is an instance of the class named on the right operand.
Here, persona will be a reference to an instance of Class, and an instance of Class can never be an instance of Persona. You're testing for an impossible condition, and the compiler is helpfully telling you about that mistake.
code :
if (Uomo.class.isAssignableFrom(persona))
if (persona == Uomo.class)

this will help -arch is a flag only in Apple's version of gcc. Since you built from source that didn't come from Apple, your new gcc doesn't have that flag. Check its man page for what flag you should be passing to make it generate 64-bit code.
When checking for a instance of the current class, why doesn't "x instanceof getClass()" work?

seems to work fine I have an abstract class AssociativeFunction which extends Expr. There are different functions which are subclasses of AssociativeFunction, and there are other expressions which are subclasses of Expr but not AssociativeFunction. ,
Why does the following not work?
In Java can we write "SuperClassObject instanceof SubClass"?

may help you . Can I write a code like : , API of instanceof :
code :
Shape shape = new Circle();
class Square extends Shape { \*...*\  }
public void doSomethingWithShape(Shape shape) {
    if (shape instanceof Cirlce) {
        // code that handles circles here
    } else if (shape instanceof Square) {
        // code that handles squares here
    }
}
Shape shape = new SomeSubTypeOfShape();
shape.printValues();

around this issue Your problem is caused by the fact that you're only going only part-way towards mimicking a DOM environment in Node. You set a few variables and stop there, and so you end up with something which is neither a stock Node environment, nor a DOM environment.
chai uses deep-eql to perform deep comparison, and deep-eql uses a package named type-detect to do some of its work. type-detect performs a test that indicates to it that it is running in a DOM environment and eventually it tries to do this:
code :
if (obj instanceof globalObject.HTMLElement && obj.tagName === 'BLOCKQUOTE') {
global.HTMLElement = window.HTMLElement;

it helps some times To me this seems to be an oversight or limitation in the Java language and I do not think it is possible.
The referenced type in an instanceof expression must be reifiable according to JLS 4.7, meaning that it must be expressed as a reifiable type by its fully qualified name. At the same time, JLS 6.7 states that local classes do not have a fully qualified name, they can therefore not be expressed as reifiable.
